An engaging narrative filled with mystery and tension that branches in many different directions. Distinct and memorable characters written with depth and nuance--especially the Empress. Breathtaking art and character design. The characters appear to be painted, but there is a very arresting 3D motion effect that brings them to life. Choices matter. Music captures the mood of each scene and enhances the resonance of the story. I wanted the game to last longer.
There's already some built in controller support for this game engine, but I have not been able to test it. It should be fine? Yes, am going to put it on Steam. Should be there by the end of Oct.
I've long been a fan of this visual novel developer's works, and this one definitely didn't disappoint in the slightest! The art style is painterly and exquisite, the character designs are gorgeous, the animation of the sprites is visually interesting, the musical score is suitable for each scene, and the slight variations in the narrator's personality across playthroughs are intriguing.
It was fun trying to get the different endings through trial-and-error though I suspect that there are still secrets I have yet to uncover. The completionist in me wishes I could access a walkthrough or hints. I may take another crack at this VN at a later date to see what else I might have missed!
Overall, this was another excellent addition to the developer's roster of interactive masterpieces. Can't wait to see what the developer puts out next. <3

omg, thank you so much for the kind comment and for playing!!
I am about halfway through writing a walkthrough but atm I'm working on something for the Empress of Aeser that needs to be done tomorrow. But I'll get back to it as soon as that's done with.
Thank you again! It's exciting to hear the different endings and variations were intriguing!
This was so cool and immersive! Love the art direction, and the way the writing always kept me guessing what the best course of action might be, as is appropriate in a tense situation like the one depicted. I ended up playing for multiple endings because I wanted to see the differences in the flow of the conversations, as well as the differences between the male and female protagonist. Really impressive work! <3
yeeee, I enjoyed listening to your playthrough~ it's great to see the responses to the choices, since Goblet of Mercy has a more off the wall writing style than the other stories.
Aaah this was a very fun experience! The art + the music are both great (the music in particular is very atmospheric), and I enjoyed all of the different choices you can make. It was nice backtracking through the story to get all of Allie's misc responses haha ;;
The use of animated sprites is also very evocative! It gives them a lot of character!
Also, Mara is very pretty... I would not mind if she stepped on me haha ;; Her queenly attitude is very good, and the pointy teeth are pretty cute ngl
Thank you for playing and taking time to comment!! lol. So glad it was fun and you liked the art & music (I'm never sure how music is going to work out when I'm making it, tbh), and animation!
Ah, Mara. The one character I can pull out all the stops for.
